Tony's Town Square Restaurant

5. Flame Tree Barbeque

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant invites guests into an experience reminiscent of the romantic scenes from Disney’s timeless classic, Lady and the Tramp. With its charming ambiance and authentic Italian cuisine, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant delivers on the experience of an Italian meal.

Upon entering Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, guests will take notice of the wonderful vintage-inspired decor, and various touches throughout that pay homage to the 1955 film, Lady and the Tramp. Whether seated indoors amid the cozy atmosphere or on the outdoor patio overlooking the bustle of Main Street U.S.A, guests will experience the ambiance of a true trattoria.

Begin your dining experience with enticing appetizers, from Tony’s Garlic Bread with roasted garlic-butter and parmesan fonduta to Fried Mozzarella with a spicy creamy tomato sauce. If you’re craving a taste of Italy’s coastal regions, then Insalata Caprese offers a perfect blend of tomatoes and fresh mozzarella topped with arugula and a balsamic glaze.

By the time the main course arrives, hopefully you aren’t already full. Guests will be treated to a showcase of the richness and diversity of Italian cuisine. Personally, I say that Chicken Parmigiana steals the spotlight by delivering both quality taste and authenticity. This dish offers breaded chicken smothers in marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese, served over a bed of spaghetti. However, do not sleep on the classics such as Fettuccine Alfredo or Spaghetti and Meatballs!

What is an Italian meal without sweets? Dessert offerings range from traditional favorites like Tiramisù Cannoli to my favorite, Italian Strawberry Shortcake topped with balsamic-marinated strawberries. Tony’s Town also offers Gelato and Tony’s Spumoni Tart, which is a flourless chocolate cake.

Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply savoring a moment of peace amidst the rush of Magic Kingdom, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is a place that will capture the heart of Disney enthusiasts and food lovers alike. From the moment you are seated to the final bite of dessert, you will be confident that you made the right choice!

Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

4. Rainforest Cafe

Let’s jump into the heart of Adventureland and to Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, or just, Skipper Canteen. Inspired by the iconic Jungle Cruise attraction, this unique dining establishment seamlessly blends great theming with innovative cuisine.

As guests step through the doors of Skipper Canteen, they are transported to one of three places: the crew’s Mess Hall, the Jungle Room (former family parlor), or the S.E.A Room (secret meeting place). This theming and decor help set the stage for a dining experience filled with laughter and discovery.

The menu at Skipper Canteen is a voyage in itself, which features a fusion of bold flavors and exotic ingredients inspired by the diverse dishes of Asia, South America, and Africa. Satisfy your tastebuds with options such as the Mess Hall Fried Rice, featuring spicy chili-garlic shrimp over pork fried rice, and the Falls Family Falafel, served on house-made edamame hummus. If you enjoy falafel or want to try something new then you have to order it!

For the main course, guests can take an expedition full of flavor and creativity. An excellent option would be Sustainable Fish, served over Bok choy, lotus root, bell peppers, and shiitake mushrooms in a light ginger-lemon grass broth, which brings guests to the shores of Southeast Asia. My choice would be Dr. Falls Signature Grilled Steak, which is a carnivore’s delight. This dish is marinated hanger steak cut into tender strips with roasted peppers, onion, tomatoes, and Peruvian condiment called, Aji Amarillo Aïoli. As I always say, you cannot go wrong with anything steak!

No journey is complete without that sweet ending though. Skipper Canteen overs a small selection that will without a doubt satisfy any sweet tooth. An absolute must-try is Kungaloosh!, which is an African-inspired chocolate cake with caramelized bananas and caramel ice cream. So good! If you are wanting a lighter option, which I cannot blame you, a good choice would be Coconut Bar with Pineapple-Basil Compote and Vanilla Cream. The coconut bar offers a refreshing blend that provides the perfect conclusion to an amazing meal.

Surely you and your companions have experienced the Jungle Cruise ride. If you have, then you know how your service experience at Skipper Canteen will go. The charismatic skippers add that extra layer of entertainment to the dining experience ensuring that you leave filled with laughter. Speaking of rides, check out Best Rides at Magic Kingdom for our top ride suggestions!

Overall, Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen offers a delicious adventure with inventive cuisine, theming, and playful storytelling. It does a good job of capturing the spirit of exploration and discovery making it a great choice for your lunch or evening meal!

The Crystal Palace

3. Tusker House Restaurant

Hopping back over to Main Street U.S.A, to The Crystal Palace which stands as a beacon of elegance and charm. With the Victorian architecture and lush greenery, this restaurant offers not only a feast for the senses but also a warm embrace of sheer elegance.

This option is a little different than the rest that I have mentioned so far. The Crystal Palace is an all you can eat buffet. I cannot give as much as an in-depth look into menu since a lot of the menu changes seasonally. I can tell you though that the buffet features a lot of American favorites and there will be many great options to munch on though.

Personally, I like to start off at the salad bar to create a crisp salad tossed with farm-fresh greens and garden vegetables. As guests move on to the main course offerings, the buffet line showcases an array of carved meats, such as prime rib, to country fried chicken with black pepper gravy. The main courses are also accompanied with savory sides, from creamy mashed potatoes to buttery green beans almondine. For those craving a taste of the sea, the buffet also offers shrimp creole, fresh fish, and shrimp scampi served with jasmine rice and seasonal vegetables.

No feast is complete (unplanned rhyming) without a proper dessert finale. From an assortment of rich chocolate tortes and creamy cheesecakes to fruit tarts and ice cream, the dessert selection is there to satisfy just about any desire! Don’t worry, you will walk it all off around Magic Kingdom, or during the walk back to the car!

The Crystal Palace is more known for its character dining experience though. Here guests have the opportunity to interact with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet who make regular appearances throughout the meal. Be sure to pose for photos, share hugs, and create memories that will last a lifetime!

Overall, The Crystal Palace offers a buffet that tends to be on the smaller side compared to other options around Disney World, but that does not take away from the deliciousness. With confidence I can say, guests cannot go wrong by dining with the crew from Hundred Acre Wood in a Victorian era greenhouse!

Cinderella's Royal Table

2. Yak & Yeti Restaurant

We all know and have seen Cinderella’s Castle.. or at least I hope so if you are at Disney World, it is hard to miss! Cinderella’s Royal Table is your chance to dine within a fairytale inside Cinderella’s Castle!

As guests ascend the spiral staircase and into the banquet room they are sent into a realm of opulence and grandeur. The dining area, with its vaulted ceilings, medieval flags, and views of Fantasyland through stain-glassed windows, provides a stunning backdrop for a meal fit for a king or queen.

The guest’s royal dinner begins with a choice between Soup of the Day, Castle Salad, Braised Beef, or Chilled Jumbo Shrimp. However, the salad is not necessarily your traditional salad, it contains lettuce, brussels sprouts, goat cheese, seasonal vegetables, and Green Goddess Dressing. A great choice here, in my opinion, would be the Tomato Bisque when it is the Soup of the Day! It is a perfect portion that is not meant to fill you up, so do not worry about that.

Next guests are treated to a main course feast fit for royalty, with a typical selection of exquisite dishes. The five choices to choose from are Roasted Lamb Chops, Grilled Filet Mignon, Crab-topped Catch of the Day, Marinated Grilled Chicken, or Parisian Gnocchi. We can all guess what I would recommend here.. that’s right, the filet mignon. It is served with seasonal vegetables and potato pavé with a side of house-made steak sauce. However, I don’t really see a bad choice with any of these!

Of course a royal dinner at Cinderella’s Castle would come to a close with some incredible desserts. There are three choices to choose from which include a cheese cake with Jaq & Gus, a dark chocolate mousse with The Clock Strikes Twelve, or a coffee-infused coconut custard with Coffee Pot de Crème. I like to stick to what I know when it comes to dessert so of course my recommendation would be the cheesecake that is topped with seasonal flavors, yum!

Cinderella’s Royal Table is also renowned for its enchanting character interactions, with Disney Princesses such as, Aurora, Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine, and of course Cinderella! Autographs, photos, and memories are some of royal festivities offered by these Disney Princesses!

Cinderella’s Royal table combines elegance, impeccable service, and wonderful cuisine to create a magical meal that seems straight out of a fantasy world. This choice will be sure to leave you and your companions feeling like kings, queens, princes, and princesses in your own fairytale kingdom!

Be Our Guest

1. Tiffins Restaurant

Are you ready to step into the magical world of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast? Guests are invited into this fairytale and into the Beast’s enchanted castle to experience not only incredible cuisine, but also the grandiose architecture!

Guests will be dining in one of three locations within Beat’s castle. The first option is The Grand Ballroom which is adorned with sparkling chandeliers, towering archways, and majestic tapestries along the wall. An absolutely stunning room if you ask me! Another option is, The West Wing study, where guests can dine next to the enchanted rose. Lastly, The Rose Gallery, where guests dine alongside artwork depicting Belle and Beat’s favorite memories. Any of the options definitely allow guests to feel swept away by the fairy-tale ambiance!

The three course French-inspired dinning experience begins with appetizers, of course. Choose one of French Onion Soup, Mixed Green Salad, Duck and Pork Terrine, Escargot de Bourgogne, or Potato-Leek Soup. I am not an escargot fan at all, so I am skipping on that one, maybe you are. My recommendation would be the French Onion Soup topped with golden-brown croutons and melted Gruyère cheese!

The main course comes with an option of six choices ranging from pork chop, ribs, and chicken to trout or even Pan-roasted Squash. I strongly recommend the Wine and Beer-braised Beef Short Rib that is served with smashed potatoes and smoked bacon! Another great choice would be the Dry-Aged Duroc Pork Chop that is served with smashed potatoes and stewed pepper piperade! The pork chop offers an incredible blend of flavors that are French inspired which should entice anyone to try it!

A visit to Be Our Guest Restaurant would not be complete without indulging in one of the delicious desserts. Guests have two choices to choose from which include Dessert Trio (Chocolate Tart, Dark Chocolate Truffle, and Lemon Jam Macaron) or Vanilla Cake with Lemon Curd. My recommendation would be the vanilla cake as it is topped with fresh berries and strawberry meringue! I typically like the classics when it comes to the desserts if you have not noticed.

Be Our Guest is not classified as a character dining experience, however guests may have an appearance from the Beast as it is his castle. The Beast tends to make an appearance every hour or so, it seems.

Be Our Guest is the top of my Best Restaurants in Magic Kingdom for obvious reasons. The overall experience is elevated with immersive theming, delicious food, and a unique character experience. Whether you and your companions are celebrating, or just savoring a moment of Disney magic, a visit here will leave guests feeling as if they were actually welcomed into the home of the Beast from an iconic fairytale!
